These are answers to the most common and current questions regarding on-line
application for graduation. Should your queries be left unanswered after reading

APPLICATION FOR GRADUATION CONCERNS:
- In what website can I access the on-line application
for graduation?
You can click the “Apply to Graduate” link in your My.LaSalle
account main page.
- When does the on-line application period start and
how long is its duration?
The on-line application for graduation facility of your My.LaSalle account
is accessible on the 8th and 9th week of your final term.
- Can I apply for graduation on-line any time of the
day at any day of the week?
No. The system will only entertain applications for graduation Mondays to
Fridays, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 nn.
- How can I validate if my application to graduate
is successful?
After you finish filling out the form, you will be given a confirmation number
which you will present to the Office of the University Registrar on the scheduled
date.
- Is the application free?
No. A week after you apply on-line, you can get the assessed amount from the
Front Desk of the Office of the University Registrar. Only after you pay the
indicated amount will you be included in the roster of graduating students.
- I clicked the “Apply to Graduate” link
but was taken to a page where I was informed that I was not allowed to use
the facility, what does this mean?
It could mean that you have to clear some records with the Office of the University
Registrar. To clarify the matter, you can contact 524-4611 local 112 and look
for the person in-charge of your college’s records. You can also e-mail
registrar@dlsu.edu.ph.
- I believe I am qualified to receive honors upon
graduation, do I need to apply for this?
If you qualify for honors, you will be automatically included in the honors’
list where you meet the criteria. You can also be nominated by your classmate.
- What will happen if I indicated in the on-line application
that I will attend the graduation rehearsals but failed to do so?
The rehearsals are intended to show you what will happen on your graduation
day. It will also show how things are done so everything will run smoothly.
However, we are also aware that some unexpected events might happen and you
might not be able to make it. For this reason, if you will not make it to
the rehearsal, you will be instructed on what to do in the venue on your graduation
day.
- What time does the ceremony start? How long will
it take?
The ceremony starts at exactly 9:00 a.m. and ends after 2 or 3 hours.
- How many guests can I bring along with me? Where
and when can I get the tickets?
A graduating student will be given 2 to 3 tickets for his/her guests depending
upon the number of graduates. The tickets are given out during the graduation
rehearsal. When a student fails to attend the rehearsal, he/she can get the
tickets from the Registrar’s Office Front Desk, La Salle Hall Room 133.
- What is the baccalaureate mass?
The baccalaureate mass is where excellence awards, departmental and loyalty
medals are awarded to students. It is usually held in the Chapel of the Most
Blessed Sacrament (main chapel).
- How do I get my correct cap and gown size?
The gown size depends on your height. To get your correct cap measurement,
on the TOGA MEASUREMENTS section of your on-line application for graduation,
click the “see head measurement instructions” link.
- What documents will I have after graduation?
The graduation package includes the diploma, the yearbook and the transcript
of records. These will be mailed to you two (2) months after the commencement
exercise.
- How do I prove that I am a graduate if I don’t
have my diploma?
You can request for certified true copies of your transcript of records and
a certification of graduation from the Office of the University Registrar
during the graduation rehearsal period.
- Is there an office which will provide assistance
in my search for a job after graduation?
The Graduation Information Form which you will be required to accomplish,
will be kept by the Office of Career Services. You will also have a file with
the De La Salle Alumni Association. A number of topnotch companies contact
these offices in search of La Salle alumni.
