Lasallian Enrichment Alternative Program (LEAP)

The Lasallian Enrichment Alternative Program (LEAP) is an annual activity sponsored by the Student Council and the Council of Student Organizations during the University Mission Statement Week. This annual activity was approved by the Council of Deans in 2001, and has been supported by the university community since then. The year the LEAP is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2014. The LEAP activity is implemented as follows.

In lieu of regular classes for the Saturday, February 1, undergraduate students will attend one seminar/workshop as an alternative class. They can attend a morning session from 0900 to 1200 hrs or an afternoon session from 1300 to 1600 hrs. Students are expected to have pre-registered for their preferred class. All alternative classes would be held in the DLSU campus. At the end of the session, students would be given certificates, which they would have to present to their teachers as proof of their attendance. Students who fail to attend an alternative class will be marked absent in all their regular classes for that day.

Please note that, all regular undergraduate classes will give way to alternative classes and faculty members will not conduct undergraduate classes on Saturday, February 1, 2014. However all graduate classes, office activities, support services, and others will go on as scheduled.

MECHANICS

  1. Students who are enrolled for this term Term 3, AY 2013-2014 are the ones who can register for LEAP.
  2. LEAP Registration will be on January 24-25, starting from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Registration for LEAP topics is on a First Come, First Served basis.
  3. Strictly no changing of classes after your on-line registration.
  4. Please register ONLY in ONE class in lieu of all your subjects for the day.
  5. In case ALL of the LEAP topics are already closed or if you have any other concerns or questions, call /text Bryan Joseph Uy 0917-8298110 or Holly Marie Rayos 0917-8215995

How to select a subject

  1. Select a LEAP Category from the "Category List" drop down menu Select a LEAP Topic from "Subject List" menu. The remaining slots in each subject is displayed beside the subject title.
  2. Click on "View Subject Detail" to view subject information

How to enlist in a subject

  1. If you wish to enlist in this subject, provide a valid contact no. in the "Contact Number" text box.
  2. Click on "Submit" to enlist in this subject, otherwise click on the "Go Back" button to return to the LEAP subject list.
