Community Service Online Registration Mechanics for TREDTWO Students

Mechanics

  1. Only students enrolled in TREDTWO (T2 AY 2012-2013) may register for this community service placement.
  2. Online registration will be available only from 9:00-6:00 on October 5, 2012     Registration is on a “First Come First Served” basis.
  3. As a policy, online registration is personally made using your My La Salle account. 
  4. Please register in ONE center only. However, be ready with an alternative center should all slots of your preferred center be taken at the time of your registration.  Ensure that there is no conflict with your other academic schedules.
  5. Registration to a center means you agree to ALL the information presented (i.e., schedules, requirements, payments, and other terms).

Strictly NO CHANGING of deployment center after your online registration.

Community Service Placement Types

There are 2 types of Placements, the Series and Non-Series:

  1. The Series (S) type is usually a Metro Manila placement. The service is a succession of visits of at least 3 hours.
  2. The Non-Series (NS) type is accomplished within one visit to the deployment site and is accomplished within one day. Deployment sites are either in Metro Manila or outside of Metro Manila.
Everyone Proceeds to the center/ community as a class. No students may go to the area on his/her own.

For both service placement types in all deployments, no transportation is provided. You go on your own; commuting publicly or carpooling is encouraged. For safety reasons, student/s is NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE.

How to Register in a Center for Community Service (CS)

  1. After a successful MLS log-in, proceed to Main Page and click-on Register Community Service. 
  2. Check your Enrollment Assessment Form (EAF) to ensure that there is no conflict between your academic schedule and the CSP placement you are interested in.
  3. Select a Placement Type (Series or Non-Series) from the Category List drop down menu.
  4. Select a Center from the Center List drop down menu. Remaining slots available are displayed beside the Name of Center.
  5. Click on View Center Details button for further information about the Center chosen.
  6. Enter a valid contact number and click on Submit button to complete your registration; otherwise, click on Go Back Button to change your options.
  7. Print a copy of the final deployment center registration. Keep this as your file.

Community Service Reminders

  1. For both service placement types in all deployments, no transportation is provided. You go on your own; commuting publicly or carpooling is encouraged. For safety reasons, student/s is NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE.
  2. Students are encouraged to enroll personally to ensure that there is no conflict between your academic schedules and community service activities.
  3. Submission signifies your Conforme to all details, schedules and other requirements listed in your Registration Sheet. This also means that you have consulted your parents/guardian, and they have agreed (and given their permission) to your chosen Deployment Center.
  4. Block off all schedules stated in your Center details. Please attend all activities on those dates.
  5. Regularly check your My La Salle e-mail account.  All concerns regarding Community Service shall be primarily communicated there.
